It only seems like yesterday that Mexico's melodic death metal quartet Nuclear Chaos released their second record Ruins Of The Future. That release also came with the band's first ever music video 'Suffocate' which featured guest vocals from none other than David Vincent of Morbid Angel fame. Having been on the road including a stint in Europe playing at prestigious events such as Wacken Open Air and Metal Days we're now over half way through 2016 and the band have been busy tracking the follow up to that release. The band comments, "The new record is very different from what we did in the past but it keeps the Nuclear Chaos essence intact. The album will contain many different influences going from melodic death metal to Latin metal. We are very excited about this release and this album will show a stronger and more mature Nuclear Chaos." With a title yet to be revealed, and a release date slated for early 2017 the band have a new single to bridge the gap. Coinciding with the new single, entitled 'Shockwave', the band have also unleashed a new music video for it. The video was shot in Templo San Lázaro (St. Lazarus Temple), an abandoned church from the 1520's in Mexico City. It was shot, directed and edited by Frank Fletcher and Ponce Chiefs from the Mexican studios Soberbios Films. "Shockwave is an allusion to what we have lived in the past years," comments the band. "It shows a metaphor of how we overcame some personal problems that we will carry as chains forever. They will always be there as a reminder of what we have gone through but they also show that what doesn't destroy you will make you rise stronger." www.facebook.com/nuclearchaosmusic

The band chose to record Chains Of Solitude themselves in their own studio. This way they had the luxury of trial and error, and could take time for the recordings. The mixing and mastering was done by Jochem Jacobs at Split Second Sound in Holland. "We really liked his work and sound for Textures, Crimson Falls, Scarred, ... The fact that we could communicate in the same language was a huge advantage. He did a great job and we would like to thank him for that." www.facebook.com/rejectthesickness Arch Enemy will play the biggest stage production of their career at next week’s Wacken Open Air on Saturday, August 6th around midnight, making this the pinnacle of a highly successful album campaign. We want to send our thanks to all of the people who supported us during the writing and production process, we couldn't make it without you. So, we hope everone will enjoy hearing the album as much as we enjoyed making it." Stream Fragile Reality In Full Right Here! https://nothingliesbeyond.bandcamp.com/album/fragile-reality Hailing from the Israeli capital of Tel-Aviv, Nothing Lies Beyond are a band shining in the depths of a fledgling Middle Eastern metal scene. They're a band that's been around a couple of years now, slowly building a name for themselves on the club circuit, graduating in performances alongside their peers such as Children Of Bodom and Dark Tranquility. Fragile Reality finally sees the band make their mark further afield with nine tracks of hook laden melodic death metal that would make you swear you were listening to something from Gothenburg from the early nineties... except with a modern finesse. www.facebook.com/NothingLiesBeyond Listening to AETHERIAN for the first time makes you think the band would come from Finland or Sweden, but the trio in fact is from sunny shores of Greece. Even with a Southern heritage and much more Vitamin D in their veins the band from Athens share the same melancholic genes as their "competitors" from the upper North. With the sound the band is creating we are very sure AETHERIAN will be playing in the first league of melodic death metal bands very soon. Ladies and gentlemen please welcome AETHERIAN to the Lifeforce Records roster! In April 2016 the band released its first video clip for their new single "The Rain", which received amazing feedback and well over 150,000 plays on YouTube so far. AETHERIAN are currently working on new songs for their upcoming debut album, which will be released on Lifeforce Records in summer 2017. Aetherian is a melodic death metal band from Athens, Greece. The band was formed in 2013 by Aggelos and Panos. By 2015 Aetherian released 2 singles and an EP entitled "Tales of our Times" which were all included in a CD version released by Goressimo Records. At that time Nikos joined the band and Aetherian performed several live shows with various local bands. "Tales of our Times" drew the attention by critics and fans alike and received great reviews. https://www.facebook.com/Aetherianband They break the rules, reinvent themselves with every album and are considered to be Gothenburg's brightest metal pearl - since the early 90's, In Flames have delivered a spectacular progression which has seen them transform their sound from classic melodic death metal to their current modern and unique style. The Swedes never cease to challenge their artistic boundaries, and on September 23rd, the band will be releasing an impressive demonstration of their current live expertise on DVD – ‘Sounds From The Heart Of Gothenburg’. Nostalgia or a return to their roots has never been an option for the progressive In Flames, but the set-list of this bombastic concert DVD tears through the band's entire history. With 20 tracks, the show that was recorded at Gothenburg's Scandinavium, reaches a length of one and a half hours, and achieves in capturing the band at their very best, celebrating current hits such as 'Through Oblivion’, 'With Eyes Wide Open‘ and 'Rusted Nail‘ to a packed out arena. But of course, old school classics such as 'Trigger‘, 'Cloud Connected‘ and the hypnotic finisher 'Take This Life‘ are not left out.
Prepare for an intensive and visually explosive performance in front of 10,000 fans featuring pyrotechnics, circle pits, flying crowd-surfers and In Flames' incomparable riffs. "This DVD is for everyone who was been following our career; we have songs from the early years, the middle years and the new era. It has to be fun for us to play but also fun for the audience to watch and we try to get a good flow with nice dynamics and different songs,” - states Björn Gelotte. Tel-Aviv based melodic death metal outfit Nothing Lies Beyond recently posted details about their debut album "Fragile Reality", set for release 22nd July 2016. Today the band have released a new lyric video for 'Lost', a track which captures the real Swedish vibe which the band take huge inspiration from. Drummer Ariel Lior comments, 'With the fast riffs, melodic choruses, quieter parts, and tasty soloing, this song really defines who Nothing Lies Beyond are." Watch 'Lost' below. When you think of The Middle East, metal isn't exactly the first thing that springs to mind but look in the right places and you'll find a fledgling metal scene and one such band shining right now are Nothing Lies Beyond. They're a band that's been around a couple of years now, slowly building a name for themselves in the back alleys and clubs of their capital Tel-Aviv, graduating in performances alongside their peers such as Children Of Bodom and Dark Tranquility. Having been holed up in AG studio recently Nothing Lies Beyond have come to the surface with a blistering melo-death album entitled "Fragile Reality". Nine tracks of hook laden melodic death metal that would make you swear you were listening to something from Gothenburg from the early nineties... except with a modern finesse. With songs like 'Never Back Down' and 'We Are The Revolution' this is a statement of intent from the young quintet. "Fragile Reality" will be released on 22nd July 2016 independently. www.facebook.com/NothingLiesBeyond
Veteran Brazilian Death Metal Troop Coldblood unleashed their third full length, "Indescribable Physiognomy Of The Devil" from Satanath Records & Metallic Media on June 16, 2016. The band was forged in the underworld of Rio de Janeiro with the intention to make a sound based on the roots of Death Metal and to preach Satanic Doctrine. The album, which was recorded in Brazil and mixed and mastered in Germany, has 10 new songs showing Coldblood with its feet even more nailed in the roots of the 90's Death Metal, but also adding its own identity in compositions that will surprise the listeners thirsty for an obscure, chaotic and traditional Death Metal. Menacing vocal deliveries, pounding drum hammerings, sharp and thick bass lines, and continuous neck wrecking riffs together with the fiendish, transitory solos will make any death metal fans go insane.
